My name is Vanessa Starr Pittman-James (I go by Mrs. James). I am an African American Graduate Student from Wayne State University, mixed with Native American. I am 25 years old and will be 26 on September 18, 2011. I was born in 1985 and raised from Saginaw, Michigan. Saginaw is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Detroit, Michigan. I relocated last year on August 16, 2010 from Saginaw to Wixom, Michigan (which is about 35 minutes away from Detroit, closer to Novi, Michigan). I am married and have two degrees. I have a Associate Degree in Arts (Liberal Arts), and a Bachelor Degree of Social Work. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University where I were a transfer student from Michigan State University (MSU). I completed my degree on December 18, 2009 and completed my Associate Degree from Delta College (Both from University Center, Michigan) on August 15, 2009. I don't have any children and am the only child.
My interests outside of Social Work are simple. I love to read religious/spiritual books. I pray through hard and good times. I love to talk on the phone and hang with friends/family. I like to learn new things. I plan on maybe getting my PhD in the future and to learn different foreign languages. I like to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
